Mountain Biking - Schwinn Rocket 3... what back rims fit??
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I damaged my rear rim very badly and am in need of a new rim. I am wondering what wheels may fit directly from another bike or what new rim assembly I could purchase and use to replace my old one.
I can give any info needed. Any advice?

disc or rim brakes? tubed or tubeless tires? type of terrain and style of riding? model year of frame or pic? budget?

The bike has tube tires and rim brakes. It has Shimano Alivio derailer and 8 sprockets on the back hub.
The sticker on the rim says:
SCE-17 6061-T6 559X17 Xrims By Alex
I am looking for something to replace or improve so this does not happen again. Not really sure of my options yet.

Oh yeah, sorry. Any 8/9 speed non tubeless rim brake compatible mtb rim/wheel should work.

$73 through Friday with 15% discount
Suggestion based on your Alivio RD which is decent but still low-end spec.

Thanks, that is nice... Do you have any idea what size wheel I have?? Is it a 26" wheel? I cannot tell by info given on wheel.
Thanks a ton!
