I have a broken spoke on a Specialized Hardrock rear. Should I buy all new and relace the entire thing, or should I just buy a few and replace the 4 in the area of the broken one?
Thoughts?

Unless there is other damage, I'd just replace the broken one.
I inherited my bike with a broken spoke and replaced just the one and so far its holding up just fine under my hefty 350 lbs.
How many miles does the wheel have on it? One spoke usually means the othes are stressed as well. When I pop one I take it in for a rebuild.

Depends on what caused the break. If a stick, or other debris, was kicked up into the wheel and caused the spoke the break, then just replace the broken one. If you've ridden the bike for many a mile, then you may want to consider a rebuild or replacement.
