So im looking for a good rim for my front wheel build. I want a rim that is as deep or very similar to say an alex r450 rim. I like the sound of the fusion rim, but is it deeper thean an alex r450 rim? Also does anyone have experiance with either rims?

i have fusions laced to formula's. I like them a lot, no expirence with the aerohead.

cool i actually did some research and fusions are a good depth for me

looks like the aeroheads are much closer in depth. i've heard many many good things about them.

aeroheads are great, fusions are great. velocity makes a product that they stand behind with excellent policies toward customer satisfaction. got deep-v's on my road bike, aeros on my reminton, and a fusion rear rim on my faggin. all tough as nails, and if you don't get them in flashy colors they're pretty subtle & classy.
and if subtle & classy's not your thing, you're also in luck!

i've had both rims and they are equally good. the aeroheads are lighter, but i don't see that as a problem since they are still strong. the fusions look like a deep v but are lighter. my wife runs the aeroheads and i ran fusions because i weight more than 200 pounds. either way you have great rims.

I love my aeroheads. No experience with Fusions.

aren't IRO rims fusions???
they might be aeroheads...
I have them and I like them.
both are awesome. only problem i had with an aerohead was i got t-boned playing polo and tacoed it. no fault of the rim, but i now use a deepv for polo...

aeroheads are excellent rims.
I prefer aeros, however - aesthetically at least.
and the IRO rims are identical to fusions in specs
but not manufactured by velocity.
I can recommend IRO rims as well.
