Folding Bikes - Is this a reasonable bike configuration?

I ordered recently a BF NWT that will be built in few weeks. The price is $1075 for the base package + $217 for optional stuff.

When I verified on the internet the street price of some of the components of the base model I realized that they are on the low end of the price range.

Here are few examples:

* Tektro "V" Brake (839AL) - $9
* Derailleurs R SRAM 3.0 ESP Long Cage (34t) - $18
* 11-32 8sp SRAM PG-830 Cassette Silver - $22
* KMC Z-50 8 speed Chain - $6

The complete configuration I ordered is in the attached image.

Is this a reasonable configuration for the price or am I getting myself an expensive cheapo? :)

Anything I should change now (instead of upgrading later)?

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

IIRC your original thread was about a commuting/sport bike, so it's reasonably specced for the task.

If the question is "Am I getting an expensive cheapo?" I guess there were already plenty of suggestions on the aforementioned thread.

Looks fine to me. If you are inclined to upgrade a bit more, I would get low-end Shimano hubs -- I can't remember which square taper BB you selected -- and a bottom bracket. These are precision parts, low-end Shimano hubs are high quality if a bit heavier, and Shimano has an excellent reputation for production consistency. You might also consider switching from the single-wall rims -- I think that the Alex X-whatever rims are single-wall ... you should double check -- to double-wall rims.

EDIT: I would ask for Deore LX hubs for the build. Probably the lowest-end MTB hub that they have.
