Ok in August there are the Auckland TT champs (New Zealand's largest city) and on the same day there is a team multisport challenge based at lake Taupo.
For the TT I will be racing U19(this is my last year, even though I am 17) with either a 20km or 40km, I don't know yet. There are other multi day Championships etc to participate in, with road racing and TT's etc later on.
The multisport event I can enter as a Secondary schools team. One skier/snow boarder (from top of mountain) 2 cyclists (1x MTB section and 2x road - 2 legs by one rider) a kayaker and a runner. I am thinking of doing the 2 road sections, totalling about 80km (50Mi) It is mostly flat and the riders are spread out so you see alot of TT setups with aerobars, spinergies, trispokes etc.
By August I am hoping to have proper aerobars and some TT wheels for my bike. It is a toss up as to wether I do the Multsport team or the TT..... what would you guys do?
