This year I think I might try for the Double Wildflower (which a friend and I completed some years ago). That is, ride the SLO version, then head north that night for the Chico Wildflower Century held the next day. I'm gettin' old - no, I am old - so I'm not sure I'd survive the drive between the two rides, much less the rides themselves. If you see an old guy with a white beard wearing a Chico Wildflower jersey, it'll probably be me. They are both great centuries.

This year, I'm not willing to drive as much to attend these kind of events, so no. Sounds like a great ride though (both of them!).

I signed up for the 75-mile course. I've ridden this a couple of times and had trouble getting into good enough shape. Spring always seems to be busy for me and bike rides are hard to come by. (One year I actually had to accept a sag - the only time I've ever done that.) I'm going to try and get into good shape this year, but I thought 75 miles was a good choice. It's a beautiful ride, and SLOBC always does a top notch job on their centuries.
