Had rotator cuff surgery 29 November 2005 (right shoulder, two big tears)
Had arthroscopic knee surgery 24 April 2008 (right knee)
Had varicose vein laser surgery 24 June and 1 July 2008 (both legs)
Having rotator cuff surgery 6 January 2009 (left shoulder, 1 small tear)

I'll be back on the bike in a few days (on the trainer :(). Hope I don't fall while climbing onto the bike using only my good arm. :o
Maybe the recovery will be quick so I can get back outside soon. :)

Hmmmmm. I think the Bionic Man had stuff added. Anyway, glad your back in the saddle soon, even if it's only the trainer. I'm sure we'll be getting pictures from your first "real" ride soon. Heal quickly.

Does this mean you can run 60 mph and now you look like Lee Majors when he was young?

 After the knee surgery the doc told me that my running days are over and no hiking/backpacking either. But I could ride till I was 100. :)

The real question is do you actually feel like you're worth 6 million dollars? :D

Heal fast and heal well. The roads await.

Take good care of those rotator cuffs! They're a very important muscle that supports the shoulder. Hope yours heals quickly and completely and you're back out there soon!
