$10 for blowing your lungs out, hell, that's only 1/2 the price of a cross race. I think I'm in, I'll have to miss my usual Wednesday indoor class due to work,so getting out of the house will be easier.

BA has an online regristration that will allow you to get an early spot. The web sits says "first registered first off".

Depends on what you want to do, what you're there for. Put it into perspective.

Everyone has the same factors applied to them. Under the theory you will see less resistaning force when going up a hill than the heavier entrants. You will also not be able to gain as much speed going downhill. Not sure how they use all of that data, but Alien2 was and he claimed the little guy is at a disadvantage in this series.

Really though...are you going there in order to try to win? The guy I was talking to would be. If you're going to try out competing in a non-threating and safe environment to see how you stack up and to get ideas about your poweroutput/ as a power test then go. Regardless of the drag coefficient.

In other words you could look at your question like asking "would I be at an advantage using tire X over tire Y? Which tires should I race with...." when the answer is "the ones that are on your wheels when you toe the line."

Sure I would love to win,but I won't and thats ok.I'm intrested in the power readings since I don't own a power meter.Looks like the next TT is on Feb 1st,I'll have to sign up for that one.

Not sure either yet. My work meeting got canceled, but after Wednesday's indoor session, I'll have 8.75 hours on the bike over 5 consecutive days. I think I'll need to take a rest day. I'll make every attempt to do the next TT.

It's first come, first off as for riding order. You can sign up online and get a good indication of when your turn will be. That will help loads with your warm-up.

I'll be doing my first TT on Sun. 2/1 ABD in Winfield at 1:30 should be intresting.Anybody else going?

Yeah - there is a locker room. I found a bathroom and a locker room to change in (before vs after) last time I was there. I alwasy come to events already in my bibs and just change into jersey, etc once I am there that way there's no problem if there is nowhere to change.

After a turn of events, I'll be cutting this pretty close.


Who wants some prototype energy cookies I made tonight? They ended up being better than I thought and packed with carbs, protein and simple sugar.

i swear im not 'that guy' who makes excuses. But tonights horrible performance was courtesy of my chest cold. It hurt. Next week Gregs going down!

I was resting last night. I plan to go at it next week. 7:20, nice time, so you won fastest, and quickest meaning the "lung cookies" you blew out were free!

I'm going this coming Thursday. I think I've got some good miles in my legs and I'll further improve on my time.
Some of the guys I race with did the same course as us on their computrainer and my old teammate got a 6:45, I've beat him in 2 of the 2 TT's we've done together, so I think I'm goign to have to uphold a record.

I'm in for the 10k SBR time trial on Saturday in Verona. My intervals were terrible yesterday, and I'm mainly hoping not to come in last, but I have no idea how competitive these things are.

So I've got to work on my pacing.

On interesting note is that my powertap was seeing about 20% higher numbers than the computrainer. This was consistent with the powertap of the rider next to me as well.

Curious.

No TT on Thursday guys.
