I have a 3/8 axle in the back and I was wonderin if I should just use those adapter nuts or axle converters for a 14mm dropout. I was thinking the nuts but they seem like they would end up wearing down, but that is just me.

Adapters for the win. We just threw some in a front today.

Primo Andy's Nuts work fine; unlike washers, the extra bulk will make your axle less likely to bend or break.

khe chain tensioners have a pretty good adaptor system to fit 10mm axles in a 14mm drop out

I'm guessing a 10mm axle is a 3/8" axle?
