I have a frame I bought off of a builder who built it for himself.

It is a "ATB - Fixie", basically - so it has 135mm rear spacing.

Dedacciai Zero Uno.

I want to have a nice wheelset built for it but because of the way it was built, I can only use the Level Component Hubs. I really like them but I don't want to have to spend $500 for a wheelset.

Would anyone recommend doing or not doing a respacing on the frame so I can have an option or two?

How much would something like that cost and most importantly, would it compromise the integrity of the frame?

Thanks in advance!

Han

I don't understand why you couldn't just use a 135mm ss mtb hub, why does it have to be a Level?

Also, you'll get a better chainline with the 135mm hub, assuming you're using mtb cranks.

But, fwiw, respacing is easy and cheap, a good bike shop should be able to do it.
