my shimano mechanical disc brakes get completely shot if they get really wet. Big puddles or hard rain and they almost stop working all together. Then when they do finally dry out they grind and make all sorts of racket. Do all disc brakes do this? I thought they were supposed to work just or almost as good when the're wet. Are these shimanos just cheapies? Besides being kinda a pain to readjust every time it rains they dont seem all that bad. If i found some money(and didnt spend it on beer) and decided to upgrade my brakes, what kind of brakes(not beer) would yall recomend? Any good, reasonably priced, hydrolics?
