Training & Nutrition - something to help pass time on the trainer...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
a little something I came across to help pass time on the trainer... (and during my ~1hr commute to work!)
all you need is an mp3 player... and, check out:
http://librivox.org (free audio recordings of books in the public domain)
So far I've enjoyed and can recommend "the reluctant dragon" and "the time machine" - currently working on "the lost city"
Sweet. Thanks for sharing this. I've been looking for another cheap (free) sources of audio books.
You can also check your local library. Mine let's you checkout audio books. The selection is pretty limited and you have to get on a waiting list for the good ones, but what they have will definitely get me through the winter. Audio books are critical for 1+ hr Zone 2 rides!

Buy Spinervals DVDs and rip the audio tracks.

that would require funding... considering my 2 year old daughter has a brand new, pretty pink cast on nearly all of her right leg (that she just got today... never mind the 2 ER visits on Saturday...) I'll be doing good to get for the new tires and shorts I need for this spring...
On a positive note, I've finished The Lost City - it was excellent... and now onto War of the Worlds.

Check out www.di.fm (http://www.di.fm) for some good quality streaming stations. For me, music is the best motivator for turbo sessions. Something up-beat and fast always works well.
I haven't tried that, but I do like pandora.com for streaming audio...
