Tandem Cycling - Tandem on an indoor trainer?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Haven't tried it, but it seems like a lot of stress on the skewer and trainer. Rollers would be the way to go. You'll have to lengthen a standard set to suit. Haven't tried that either, but it looks like fun.

A tandem on rollers. Interesting Idea. Wonder if anyone has rigged a roller for tandem use.

Kreitler sells an extension for their rollers. It is intended for use with tandems and recumbents.

Skewer length is an issue, ours is only on by about 4 threads. I wouldn't ride
it outside that way, but it seems to do ok with the trainer. Need to try harder
to find a longer skewer.
good luck

We use an old school Blackburn mag trainer with our early 90's C'dale Tandem. It is a tight fit getting it in. We use care getting on and off and all is well for those cold wet days we stay inside.
