Just recieved it today. I'm sitting here making up my list. I've asked the question before.... Before I tear into this. Is this a piece of history or just an old bike? Plannng on restifying it.

It is a piece of history. A 60+ pound piece of history. But if you aren't going to climb hills, and don't worry about frame noodles, it can be a nice casual ride.

It depends on how well it fits. We rode a tandem similar to this for 30 years (Motobecane) and the flexibility won't be a problem unless you want to stand to climb, but if it doesn't fit, you won't ride it.

Actually I had 10 minutes of light when got home so I took it up the driveway and around the cul-de-sac. I like it. I'm riding a Diamondback Edgewood (waits for hisses) and it feels better than that.

I would be interested in hearing how you like it with a stoker. On a hill. But if you like it, and it is fun, then that trumps all.
