It seems to me that 140-150mm is overkill for a hardtail. 80-100mm may be more reasonable. Or maybe my notion of this is just plain silly, whadda I know I'm just a dumb carpenter.

I have a Kona Blast and I would like to upgrade the standard Rockshox Dart 100m fork. I am not sure what forks this frame is compatible with - can I go for 140 / 150 mm forks or will that change the angles to much? Thanks for your help

I'll throw out some useless babble for thought and debate. Your A2C measurement on your dart is about 471, most 140mm forks are around 515mm. That's a little over 1 1/2 inch difference and would definately change the geometry of your bike, and may put extra stress on the headtube. You might find a 140mm fork with an A2C measurement closer to the 471 your bike was designed around.
The more experienced riders on the forum understand this but evidently you needed to hear it, so...... there it is! :thumb:

145mm Manitou Nixon has a low A2C, I believe. (509mm'ish?)
