I've ordered from Pricepoint.com a couple times and I've always been happy with the products and service I received. :thumb:
My most recent order came in well packaged but there was a chip/scratch on the drive side crank arm of my new crankset. Strictly cosmetic but still a little disapointing and it mush have happened at the factory because the box and other packaging material was undamaged.
I took some pictures and emailed Pricepoint customer service about the damage. In my email I explained that since there is nothing mechanically wrong with the cranks I felt like requesting an exchange for an unflawed set would be a waste of time. I informed them I would gladly keep the cranks if they might be able to offer some alternative form of compensation such as a discount on a future order.
Within a few hours I received a response apologizing for the damage and offering me a voucher for some money off my next order. I felt this was a mutually beneficial resolution since they don't have to pay for return shipping and be stuck with a scratched crank they'd have to sell at a reduced price anyway. I gladly accepted their offer.
Good prices, strong customer service skills, an informative and easily navigable website, I'm a big fan of Pricepoint.com.
I wish they would build a warehouse on the east coast. They ship quickly but UPS takes a few days to bring my stuff to Tennessee all the way from California.
