Long Distance Competition/Ultracycling, Randonneuring and Endurance Cycling - DC Randonneurs Woolistic Jerseys

The DC Randonneurs are ordering a run of Woolistic club jerseys.

The details:

-The jerseys are available in either short sleeve or long sleeve.
Short sleeve jerseys will cost $79/ea, and long sleeve jerseys will cost $87/ea. If you want me to ship them to you, add $7. This is a flat fee. If you live in the area we can arrange a way to get the jersey to you.

-Some of the specifics of the jersey design need to be hashed out with Woolistic (e.g. we're limited to colors that are in stock), so details may vary slightly.

-Men's sizing can be found at http://www.vintagevelos.com/sizes1.html. The jersey sizing is consistent with the chart. (i.e. the cut is slim so you might have to order a size larger than what you normally wear)

-The women's sizing is as follows:

-The jersey order is not limited to members of DC Randonneurs.

Ordering closes January 14, and January 17 is the final date for me to receive a check.

The current status is that Woolistic's factory is closed until Feb 3 for holidays, and once they re-open we can place the jersey order. Once we place the order it should arrive in 40-45 days. The reason I haven't placed the order yet has been because the design was not finalized and I could not get a firm answer from Woolistic regarding what colors are available and in stock.

Thankfully, I recently heard from them about their wool in stock. Unfortunately, dark gray is not in stock in large enough quantities to make 40 jerseys. The colors that are in stock in great enough quantities are black and crimson red. Input I've received from individuals at the club meeting and in past email communications suggests that most, if not all, people prefer crimson red is over black as the primary jersey color.

In the interest of expediency, we have reversed the previously proposed color scheme to a crimson red body with a dark gray stripe and white lettering. This choice will allow us to receive the jersey as fast as possible.

If you have placed an order and no longer want to order a jersey because you love gray and hate red, let me know.

If you think the design is classy and iconic and makes you want to break into song and you want to place an order but haven't yet ... you still have time.

Orders will be accepted until Feb 2. I need your check in my hand on that day, since I will be cashing all the checks on the 2nd before I send out a check to Woolistic on the 3rd. Feb 2 IS THE LAST DAY.
