Southern California - People who live around West Covina/Rowland Heights/Walnut/La Puente beware!

A schoolmate of my sister's was assaulted and raped this morning while walking to school along Shadow Oak drive. Please let all your friends and family in the area know about the incident and tell them to be extra vigilant until this horrible criminal is caught.:mad:

This is a very sad story. I hope they'll catch the person who did it. They should do more of that "to catch a predator" stings to clean these scumbags off the streets!

This is basically a small street linking two bigger ones (Amar and Nogales) and heading into residential areas. There is a park on one side, lots of dark spots and shrubbery, and little jogging trails that lead to the back of the residential areas. According to my sis, who got the official memo from the school, the girl was walking to school early in the morning (around 6:15-6:30, I guess) when she passed a jogger. The jogger then grabbed her and she fought back, but he hit her on the head and she passed out. When she came to, she realized that she had been raped.

I really hope they catch the ******* who did this. :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Although I have to hear of this carp, this is why I visit bikeforums. A burglar broke into a house in Pasadena while a girl was still at home. a little boy kidnapped in Riverside. If we post every non cycling news topic in all of our areas, this will end up a newspaper site.:(
