We need to run a poll on what diseases or injuries TD will get this year

We give TD a lot of sh&t here but I want to get paid to rehabilitate 11 months a year. I mean this guy gets to race once then hang out at home and write articles about how he's coming back stronger than ever!

Where's Dubbayoo? He's usually on the TD threads faster than a fly on sh**.
btw - is there an Aussie equivalent of TD?

well I can't think of an exact injury-prone match but in terms of whinge factor, Mr Evans comes to mind.

Sorry....I'm now downgrading him to local club level. Perhaps a year of catagory racing in Nyack will help him HTFU ;)

I think this is TD's year to prove all the naysayers wrong.

Nah, who am I kidding? To follow EDR's point, TD seems to have the perfect career figured out, making carpal tunnel syndrome the most likely new ailment.

TD acts like a MLB player, they go IR with a hangnail.

cyclingnews just reported that he is pregnant and on 12 months maternity leave. Guaranteed he will have really bad morning sickness, suffer post-natal depression and have mastitis.

I thought highly of TD's potential...but as each injury plagued year slips by I shake my head in amazement that the guy just cannot stay healthy.

How do you get injured that frequently in a sport like cycling unless you're crashing your bicycle into walls @ 40 mph?

some interesting stuff on TD in this interview with Vaughters on BKW. Probably just more excuses but I wish him well and hope this new program makes a difference.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say TD has a great year. Injury free, top 10 in two GC and a stage victory in one .... okay, getting shaky on the stage vic but you get the idea

No, this is a sad day for American cycling and the Bikestrong fight against giardia. I now direct my energies to cheering on Cadel Evans in the 2009 Tour de France...seriously. Dude is riding like a new man.

Well I'm pissed! I was soooo looking forward to 4 weeks of Tommy D bashing...well there will be enough 99'ers out there making excuses for LA not dominating the Tour....nearly the same thing when you think about it.

I'd whine too if my team got rid of Chris Horner as my main man and replaced him with Pop'd da beach, then replace Pop'd da beach with Gilbert.

I mean, I love Gilbert, but he's not exactly going to be shutting down anything going up Ventoux.

Not to mention having to ride Canyons instead of Ridleys.

Of course no one made Cadel re-up with Lotto.

But really, he didn't whine or make up excuses. He's just cursed with a voice that's part Mickey Mouse and part Mr. Hankey

Liquigas is very deep also.
Kreuzinger, Nibali, Pelizotti, Benetti, Basso, and Chichi are all top shelf.
