I don't know why everyone is having trouble seeing the picture. It's in my post, and I can see it, but apparently some can't...

I am trying to get it put up on another hosting provider... Try this LINK (http://www.runningrein.com/images/jersey2.jpg) and see if you can download the photo...

I don't know what the heck google's problem is. Pics hosted on Picasa seem to be visible or invisible at random... I can't imagine how they make so much money when their services (even the paid ones) don't work half the time...

I've updated the artwork. The pics are LARGE, but they show good detail :)

I know this is a silly question, and I'll appear to be the newbie that I am, but I don't get the point of a group buy for jerseys that advertise. Are these particularly good jerseys or something? Maybe I should just Google Vortex Pro or whatever, but I've never heard of that brand. Well, before I came to this forum, I'd never heard of Assos either.

I don't mean to be rude, but I figure if I'm wondering about this, others may be as well.

Photobucket has good hosting; I never have a problem with others seeing my pics.

But....

What they said.... what's with the advertising of some random winery? Considering the winery is getting advertising from them, those are feckin expensive.

I like wine. I like a better planet.

It does seem like advertising for a winery should offset some of the cost.

Wines for a better planet...

Yellow + Blue is made from 100% Certified Organic grapes, and is shipped in large aluminum tanks rather than in heavy glass bottles. This means that twice as much wine can be shipped from South America to North America for the same amount of carbon emission from the transporting vessel.

Also, the wine is packaged in Eco-Friendly, recyclable Tetra-Pak once it arrives at the packaging plant in Canada, continuing to save on transporting mass. The packaged wine is then transported to the warehouse in New Jersey for later distribution.

The carbon footprint of 1 Liter of Yellow + Blue is about 50% that of a 750mL bottle of conventional wine. 33% more wine for 50% less carbon. It is easy to see the value in that.

As far as the criticism over price, all I can say is that I am making these with the best fabric and chamois available. This is not your typical cheap MS-150 team kit stuff. The prices being offered in this pre-order represent a tremendous value for the quality, and will be increasing after the pre-order period closes since future orders will be smaller, "replenishment" volumes.

"Made in USA" isn't cheap, either.

I still don't quite get it. Y+B is a commercial company, is it not?

you should find a better graphic designer, or at least one who's not visually impaired.

Thanks for the explanation of why it's a good product.

I guess I haven't been cycling long enough to under stand the quality of various fabrics.

Just hang out on BF long enough and you'll get all the most accurate and up to date information :roflmao2:

Check out www.ybwines.com if you want to read more about the wine. It's really good stuff - and definitely not what you'd expect from wine in a box.

I will be sure to forward your valuable opinion to the art department for immediate consideration...

Not exactly. Y+B is a brand of wine. But yes, there is indeed a commercial company behind its manufacture and distribution.
