I got this from a relative, and I'd just like to know, whats this thing worth? It's either a Trailmaker,Pathmaker,Pathrider, or a Trailrider. From what I see, it used to be from a 5-10 speed, but the speed changing mechanism on the handles are broke. Grips are gone, rims are slightly rusted, shimano index system for the gears, and somebody sprayed out a little bit of fading on the top of the frame. Huge frame shocks on it, and no rusting I didnt mention.

Not vintage, not worth a dime - truly, it isn't.

Wal-Mart-quality rebadge. Even worse if it isn't close to running condition. One of the local bike shops has a pile full of them - dumped by customers who didn't wish to engage in the repair expense - and doesn't know what to do with them other then haul them to the scrap.

P.S. to moderators: Is this a moved topic?

Nope, not a moved topic. It started here as far as I can tell, so since the OP got his answer that it isn't really valuable, nor is it vintage, the forum still served it's purpose, to inform, true?

I think the automotive badged bikes are usually the ones that are least likely to inspire you to ride more.

Shocks me that quality auto makers allow their names to be attached to absolute crap bikes.

That occurred to me as well. The closest I've seen is the Hummer brand on some low-end Montagues. I have the Paratrooper, and with a few mods, its a decent bike.

The worst is Tonino Lamborghini selling those cheap bikes and playing off the car company founded by his father.

Though I'll bet those Colnago/Ferrari and Bianchi/Ducati bikes are nice.

You ought to post something to that effect on A&S. Stir up a hornet's nest
