It's the Matte black and white checkerboard version.

Bought it for the team and then they decided to go with a different helmet, oh well, my loss your gain.

Paid $180 for it, it's been worn twice asking $165 OBO and was bought 1 month ago.

thanks for looking!

I am not sure, this is my first helmet. I guess I need to go to the website and find out the size I need.
I normally wear a 7 1/4 ball cap.

If you don't _know_ that you can wear this helmet, then you'd be better off going to a shop and trying a bunch on. Maybe even buying something cheaper. I love the way Giro's look, but they just don't fit my head. Make sure it's what you need as opposed to what you want.

If you find out that your head does fit in an Ionos (and a lot do), then this is a nice helmet at a good price.

I appreciate the input. I just know it's aweful hot down here and I need the most vents possible.

The helmet is great and has awesome ventilation. I would as Fatboy recommended that you try on the helmet at a local shop to make sure it fits. guessing by your size it should.

i have always been a proponent of buying the best stuff i can afford when it comes to safety and comfort gear, that being said not all helmets are created equal and i can tell you from riding with many that the Giro are some of the best out there.
