I film at 720 wide. I upload in low quality, I'm stealing wifi from the neighbors and it would be rude of me to upload a 320 meg file to youtube. :)

 boy does that take me back to my my first couple years... slow going through the trees... Now I just blast through them at full speed and occasionally hit them. :D

My next run was faster... I'm not a fan of fast.

I'm more of a big turns, big bowls & 20" of powder kind of guy... ;)

Oh hell yeah.... I just like doing that as fast as I can. :D Trees hurt, though. Try to avoid those.
How much pow was there? dang, I miss the slopes...

No new snow, 20" the day before. Lots of wind blown snow to play on or in, depending on where it was located. Very challenging conditions. The day before was prime, first lift on a storm day:

You should head out this way some time, Utah Powder is different from Colorado Powder, I hear it all the time from the Coloradoans over here... ;)

That's what I hear, too. I've also heard Steamboat is the closest we have to your powder. I'd love to make it up that way...maybe one day... Also wouldn't mind doing that winter accent of Nebo. (http://www.summitpost.org/trip-report/169883/surviving-a-1-000-ft-fall-on-mt-nebo.html) ;)

We (and a few of our friends) are 100% into a winter accent of Nebo. You just tell us what weekend.

Those non-steep sections make me nervous when the powder is deep, because when you fall it can take a long time (and a lot of energy) to get up and going again!
Joe, do you just hold the camera in your hand or is it mounted to a helmet? You have a POV camera, right? Pretty happy with it?

I'm rather happy with it, the quality is great. I don't have a wide angle lens on the camera; all the new ones do. I think I paid just under $700 for mine, but have already had to replace the cable, another $65. Its survived a lot, I clamp it to my bike, my trailer. Its very durable and sturdy, its easy to record.
If i were to do it over, I would skip the POV and buy a Go Pro Hero 5. I may end up selling my VIO and buying two Go Pro's... I don't think the picture quality difference is worth an extra $500...
