Mountain Biking - Dream Bike?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Nice list, specially the z1/ 20 QR, but what about the grips , do you find them really comfortable?

I'll swap the xtr bits for SRAM ESP 9.0, or maybe hang on for the XO that's on the way. Nice frame but I'd probably go for a custom built Ti frame if that's an option...

Anything is an option!

I'm pretty happy with the IF Deluxe.
I'd like the new one in Ti, maybe go custom and shorten up the chainstays a tad.
Does it just to be just one bike?
Other bikes i lust after include:
*An XS Tiitus Racer X
*Either a IF Planet X or maybe a Steelman 'cross bike
And i really *need* a new road bike(haven't even started shopping there).
Don't get me started on the tandem i want...
So many bikes. Too little time(and $$$).

My dream has not changed since last month. I still dream of the Pinarello Prince.

Yeah, that Fubar, what are we gonna do with him?:D
I notice you have Avid CPS's on your Kona Kevin. How do you like them. I love mine. Also, why the name change?

I love the avids, best disc brake I have come across yet. They Stop as good if not better than Hayes Hydros, but feel so much better at the lever!!
I changed the name just for the hell of it!!:p

I've told people I liked them better than the Haye's hydros too and they thought I was crazy. But I rode two bikes the day I bought mine and one had the Hayes. I really did like the feel of the Avids better. And the setup is sooo easy compared to Hydraulics. Not to mention no mess.

I've got Avid mechanicals on my GT i-drive and I LOVE them. Awesome brakes. I have not tried any hydros, but I don't think I need to. I am happy with what I have.
