We have enough serious helmet threads, let's have some fun...

"Fifty Ways to Dump Your Helmet" by Simon and The Anti-Helmet Activists*

The problem is all inside your head, they said to me
The answer is easy if you take it logically
We'd like to help you in your struggle to be free
There must be fifty ways to dump your helmet

They said it's really not our habit to intrude
Further more we hope our meaning won't be lost or misconstrued
So we'll repeat ourselves, at the risk of being rude
There must be fifty ways to dump your helmet, fifty ways to dump your helmet

Just toss it out back, Jack, get rid of the can, Stan
You don't need to wear toys, Roy, just listen to me
Just watch out for that bus, Gus, we don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the lid, kid, and get yourself free

They said it's unlikely cycling would cause much pain
And that all they want to do is make us smile again
I said, I appreciate that, and would you please explain about the fifty ways...

They said, why don't we both just sleep on it tonight
And after loads of helmet threads you'll begin to see the light
And then it hit me, and I realized that maybe they were right
There must be fifty ways to dump your helmet, fifty ways to dump your helmet

Just toss it out back, Jack, get rid of the can, Stan
You don't need to wear toys, Roy, just listen to me
Just watch out for that bus, Gus, we don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the lid, kid, and get yourself free :D

*Disclaimer: AlmostTrick does not endorse dumping your helmet based on a AHA song. hee-hee

You seem a little uptight Will. Loosen up your helmet straps and enjoy some tunes, it's the weekend!

Actually I haven't read it, and you're making it hard to troll A&S.

Not to worry. You still have the most "viral" video on Bike Forums!

Still at a loss as to why anyone thinks that people think helmets should not be worn. That's a straw man, just as much as stating that "Pro-helmet people think that laws should be passed requiring that impact padding be surgically attached to the skulls of infants!"

Sorry, but there are no arguments allowed in a song thread unless you put it in song form. That's just the rules, I didn't make 'em.

And yes Kurt, National Cycling Week will definitely be a tough one to top! :thumb:

They shouldn't, dude. The skull at birth is still soft and the bones aren't fully fused together.

You'd make them look funny when they try to date and eventually the human race would be extinct.

Man, I thought everyone knew this.

That so? Thought it was a dud myself.

Don't try and make me sing this helmet song
