Only got about 7 here so far. It's still snowing, though. I've blown, plowed, shoveled, and I still can't see my walk.

75 degrees here. Someone has to live here. May as well be me.

We only got to 72 here (that I saw), but I was lovin' it. Sure, the strong winds were painful, but no worries, at least it wasn't cold. Shorts and jersey, no leg or arm warmers needed!
How glad am I that I moved here from MO? Yes, very glad indeed.

One word ... snowblower.
I could beat John Henry & his snow shovel with my snowblower.
We were supposed to get freezing rain, then some snow today but that didn't happen so I rode 5 (!) miles in mid-30's with very very light mist. Expected to get zero miles in today.

33 miles today under perfectly clear skies with a mild breeze and 70 degrees.
I shoveled a path out to the paper box this morning. Was going to shovel the driveway so I could go to my granddaughter's basketball game but it was postponed. The weather lady says our storm is mostly over so maybe I'll do the driveway Sunday. Or not.
I envy you warm weather 50+ers.
Hmmm...if any of you would like to experience the delight of snow removal, my address is...:innocent:

I just got back from a business trip to Edmonton, Alberta. One evening while going to dinner we drove by a guy on a bike who was happily riding along an a flat bar commuter bike with a rack load of beer on back. He'd been on a beer run to the store. It was 19 degrees below zero! I will never again use "too cold" as an excuse.

You ought to feel lucky---All that shovel training to get yourself fit enough for when the Weather does eventually break.
As soon as the frost gets out of the soil- I have two tons of mulch to shift over the flower beds and the veggie patch to dig.
You don't realise how lucky you are.:innocent:

Shoveled 8 more inches of blessings out of the driveway this morning. On Tuesday the Siberian air mass is moving into our area for several days. They expect the cold dry air and wind direction to start up the lake effect snows through out the event. It's gonna get real interesting.
Definately glad I was not biking in my neighborhood this morning. I could barely get my '88 Caprice through the snow on the roads. When the snow piles and drifts slow down a charging Caprice, well my Trek wouldn't have stood a chance.
Yoo hoo, Summer....where are you?
