Foo - What are you doing tonight?

I am going through my house, identifying things I can either throw or give away. I am trying to reduce the amount of stuff that I have pack-ratted away.

I have three big Rubbermaid bins full of nothing but various computer cables that I will ever need. I have another box full of miscellaneous computer parts - mostly worthless...

Looking at trails for a 3 or 4 day backpacking trip in either April, May, or June.

Updating my library, and keeping an eye on those well known BF pests.

watching football game. looking longingly at my cx & rd bike sitting here in the living room.

I am resting. Have had a steady stream of cub scouts in and out of my house/workshop from before 10Am until after 6PM, working on pinewood derby cars.

Just got the boys fed and they are now watching a movie. Dinner dishes are done.

My wife got a night off to go out with the girls.

First beer has been drunk.

Will kill a few more beers, watch some football and scratch my dogs belly, in random order, for the rest of the evening.

Eating a nice dinner, and getting ready for my last long road ride for a couple of weeks. I have marathons the next two weekends so won't be on the bike.

Also trying to come up with a creative recipe for a Superbowl potluck that I attend every year. Any interesting recipes are welcome!

My wife got a night off to go out with the girls.

I went to a bunch of museums (California Academy of Sciences, de Young, Asian Art Museum, Legion of Honor, SF MoMA, Conservatory of Flowers), walked most of the city. Saw pretty much all the tourist things. Was a lot of fun!

I de-ratpacked all my belongings when I moved a year ago. Amazing the amount of stuff you can collect when you've had the luxury of a huge attic for nearly 30 yrs.

My backpacking trip is planned - Mt Whitney, the highest peak in the Continental United States.
Will be the 2nd time to the summit, the first time was taking the Mountaineer's Route.

However, tonight, I am going out for sushi.

I'm going to clean a little bit and move some stuff, rest for a little while, then my girlfriend and I are celebrating her last day of work, so we will probably go eat and then I need to figure out what we're doing next. I wanted to go to this bar with a chock full of arcades, but they won't allow people under 21 (she is 19). Most places are closed after 12, so hunting must be done.

I'm going to do some blogging and practice some moves. Maybe get to some music playing (i.e.recording Pavy & Schrody's theme song). I'm such a dork.

I am riding in the car with my boss. I drove to Baltimore from Charlotte and visited all of my customers that were on the way there. Then non stop on the way back. :(

flew into L A yesterday and we rode our bikes in wonderful 70 degree weather today for 50 or so miles (hoping that isn't a cruel thing to say to you all in snow and cold) getting ready for a big dinner with friends tonight and leaving tomorrow.

Just finished building my ss/fg dumpster bike. It's rideable, but I don't like the 3-bolt road pedals on it right now. I've got a set of SPD pedals in the mail.

Doctor's appointment to get this insane asthma under control, then dinner, then yoga class at the gym and riding a few miles on the stationary, then hopefully spending some quality time with the manfriend.
