I was going to try to head up to Madison but the snow made the trip too long. normally i would take me two hours to drive up there but it probably would have taken double that time with the driving conditions.

Anyway, i will head over to the Chicago Winter Bike Swap next weekend(www.chicagowinterbikeswap.com (http://www.chicagowinterbikeswap.com)). I am hoping to find a decent, moderately priced cross bike in a 52cm, new or used. There should be lots of bikes there, but I typically have a hard time finding something with a correct size, geometry for myself. Anyway, we'll see.

I'm in. Bicycle Heaven is taking in a lot of stuff to get rid of. Winter boots at big discount, Assos jerseys, etc.

I'm in, even though I don't need anything. But once I pay to get in somewhere I always end up buying something to justify the admission cost (to myself).;) Anybody know what time they're getting there?

Don't know. Still may be helping out with BH gear. If not I will try to be there when the doors open because that's when the deals diappear.

Saw Ara (spelling?) Loading a van that morning and drove up and asked if he was ripping the place off, and if so, I could be bought off for one of the nicer bikes. We talked about you breifly Psi, but he was in a hurry and I promised to stop in some day and BS with him. Seems like a nice guy.

He's pretty cool. You should definitely stop in there.....when you have a lot of time. :thumb:
