No. They don't often strike Tennessee. But I did simulate the buried-under feeling when going through the clutter on my desk.
you can be in a tsunami and never know it.
if you're far out at sea, the tsunami will just roll under your ship.

When I lived in Hawaii, they sounded the tsunami warning and all over the radio they were telling everyone to go inland - which we did. Good thing too... the water level went up 2 full inches.

My college roommate and his wife took a one year sabattical and traveled around the world. They were in Phuket Beach in late 2004, just weeks before the tsunamai hit. It was bone chilling to them to see all the places they had been destroyed. Matt sent me pictures of destroyed restaurants post tsunamai along side pics of the same place with he and his wife seated and enjoying a nice bite to eat.
