Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I think a problem with bicycle turn indicators is that the lights are too close together to easily determine which way the cyclists intends to turn. Also, I think the headlight would drown out the blinking turn signal. To an oncoming car, or to a car across the intersection, I wonder if they'd be able to tell that "oh, that bike is turning left" or if they'd just see a bicycle with a steady light and (maybe) a blinking light.
I think an arm signal is much more unambiguous, but that wireless signal to the tail light is neat.
