I went down today for the first time in two years, I guess I was over confident.
This is how it happened I was doing no handed, one legged 10 minute intervals with a sustained power output of just over 1000 Watts when the bearings in the back roller seized and launched my bike forward through the wall.
Well that is what I would like to tell you.
However this is what really happened. I had just warmed up and I had stopped to turn on the fan. I was clipped in on the right side and my left foot was on the side of the rollers frame. I was adjusting the volume on my tunes (no hands on the bars) when my front wheel turned to the left and when it hit 90 degrees it dropped down and my bike and me went over to the right side where I was clipped in. I sprained my wrist pretty bad but the bike was OK. This was the first time I have crashed on rollers when I was not even moving.
Note to self......Next time do all adjustments before setting the bike on the rollers.
