I wonder how many of the winners take out magazine ads with them, and how much they typically spend for advertising at Bicycling mag? It's just that about 2/3 of the magazine is solely dedicated to advertising, and they're pretty light on articles, so I don't take much stock in what they tell us is supposed to be the best out there.

I agree being as it is the "editors choice" awards. In the years I have owned a shop not one questionaire or industry study etc ever came my way. As a matter of fact not one vote ballot for any product award has ever cme my way in the years I have been in the industry.

Bicycling is stupid ad rag that talks down at it's readers, assuming everyone is an idiot and needs the same "cycling 101" articles on changing a tire or adjusting a chain over and over again.
No article is longer than one page (or paragraph) and has more ads than the SuperBowl.
On top of that, they know nothing about bike racing yet are completely willing to show their lack of knowledge with idiotic "TDF SPECIAL" issues, etc.
LAME rag not worth the valuable space on top of any toilet in the USA. What a POS rag.
