So I still dont have my rear wheel, over six wheels, but that is a whole another story

So I have a loaner wheel and I am treating it like I do the rest of my bike. It gets a good cleaning about every 250-350 miles of road my question is, I have not been happy with the service I have recieved from my LBS should I really clean the cassette and the rim before I return it or just return is with a little road grim on it?

If you return it clean, you may get better service. Or your LBS may not care one way or the other about service, and it wouldn't matter what you did, they still wouldn't treat you "right".

Regardless of them (the LBS) and their service, I would clean it because that would best reflect my principles.
