Hey guys,

Visiting San Jose for a conference the 23-30 of January. If the weather is nice i'm pretty sure i'll skip a couple of days if i can find somewhere to rent a road bike and a place to ride. Although I haven't been riding much this season (hip injury) i'd love to ride some true climbs (eventhough i'm not a climber). Any ideas guys and gals? Holler back.

The best ride in San Jose is Mount Hamilton. It is a long climb, but not steep. Temperature in San Jose is 70F today and the forecast is pretty nice for the next week or two.

Staying in Santa Clara...conference is at the San Jose Convention Center. It is in the 20s here in Nashville...so i'm looking forward to anything over 40 degrees.

best way to get there? hopefully i can ride on the 23rd as i arrive at around 11am and have nothing that day. Then later in the week i'll be able to skip out on some stuff

Santa Clara is a short bike ride to the base of Mount Hamilton.

You could ride to Fremont to watch the Early birds Crits. Fast Freddy was there last week.

Then ride over the freeway overpass to Don Edward park to the bike path over Dumbarton Bridge and ride back to Santa Clara. About 50 miles. Mske a nice loop.
