SO my new Cane Creek S2 headset came in for my Soma Rush frame. I was wondering if anyone else had trouble getting the bearing cups into the headtube? And yes, they are 1"...Thanks in advance

a buddy of mine did with his Rush a while back, he had to put the headset press on it quite a few times before it finally stayed in place. Another friend of mine recently got a Rush as well and his headset went in perfectly but his was a Chris King so maybe its the headset that's the issue not the frame.

i dont know whats going on then...are they supposed to fit very snug? Also, were you able to just push yours in by hand?

are you saying that the headset seems to be too large in diameter? or too small?

^ they are saying that they expected to be able to just push the cups in by hand.

Well then, no, you need a headset press to install the cups. If you're saying that they won't go in with a press, then you may need to ream (sp?) the head tube
