A motorcyclist was able to chase the truck down and write down a license plate number. (http://www.kcbs.com/Redwood-City-Truck-Driver-May-Have-Aimed-for-Cycli/3645314)
OK... so why isn't the jackhole under arrest?

Maybe they are collecting evidence. You have to have witnesses willing to corroborate, etc.

From the article Bp cited:
"Borba said that the incident gave them pause because two members of their team, Kristy Gough and Matt Peterson were killed last year in Cupertino when a Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Deputy accidentally hit them with his patrol car."

Um, four cyclists that were attacked and a motorcyclist that pursued and wrote down the license number. I count five known witnesses. There may have been more.
This is a horribly written story.

Maybe the truck isnt registered under his real name or current address.

Maybe the district attorney doesn't give a sh*t about cyclists and isn't interested in prosecuting, so the cops aren't bothering to follow up with anything?
