Has anyone else seen this post before? It came on a Univega Competizione that I bought but I don't know if it was stock. I haven't seen another and wanted to figure out if it is a treasure or a regular :-)

sorry... just a "regular" ,tho a nice regular at that (that is, if you're into the carbonfibre techhie thing). Strong supplied oem seatposts for many japanese sourced bikes of the period, the bulk of them being clones of the aluminum alloy SR Laprade. yours was their "premium" carbonfibre-wrapped model and almost certainly the stock unit on your Univega competezione.


The carbon fiber wrap makes it lighter, right :p
