Folding Bikes - SRAM DualDrive on droap bars with brifters?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. All,
I'm considering buying a BikeFriday with SRAM DD and dropbars. Currently it is spec'd with barcons.
Can a DualDrive hub work with brifter style shifters? If so, any particular models that work?
I think I know the answer, but appreciate it if someone could verify this.
thanks, Duppie
Hubbub + Brifters should work. Are you going to be using a Front Derailleur as well?

The config would be SRAM DualDrive and 8/9 cassette. No front derailleur. If I use a hubbub, then the DualDrive hub would not be controlled by the brifter, correct? The brifter would be used for braking, the hubub for shifting gears in the hub? That doesn't seem a real improvement over barcons?
Thanks, Duppie

Yes. Apparently the pull for the front derailer is a close match for the internal hub. Presumably since you have a 9 speed cassette they would use Tiagra. But if you look on their website, they have a few "sport" models that mate drops bars with the Dual Drive.

Ok, so it is good that I asked. Somehow I had it in my mind that they would NOT work together. Goes to show how much i really know :(
Thanks for the quick replies!
