Northeast - Pittsburgh bike rentals?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hey northeasters,
does anyone in Pittsburgh ride a bike? I'll be in town for a week long conference in March, and would like to ride a little while I'm there. Does anyone actually ride a bike in PA, and if so, are there any shops that rent out road bikes? This would be near Dusquesne University and I won't likely have a car.
thanks for the help

The closest bike shop to Duquesne University I believe is
Golden Triangle Bike and Blade
Bike Shop Bike Rentals 412-600-0675
They do rent bikes but I don't have any experience with renting.
The bike Pittsburgh web site is ... http://bike-pgh.org/
There is a bike map that you can download or view on-line. The 'Burgh does have one or two hills that I'm sure will prove interesting.

I've never rented from Golden Triangle, but I have stopped to get a drink and a power bar there before and the staff seemed friendly. They're not open year round, though, and I believe they have more of hybrids and some mountain bikes.
You said you were looking for a road bike - what kind of quality are you looking for? Also, what size? I don't know if there are any rental places around, but I might be able to point you in the direction of someone who can...

Of course we ride bikes here! :) Our hills aren't that big. :)
Golden Triangle does not rent road bikes that I am aware. I know of no place in Pittsburgh that does,
What size frame do you need? You are welcome to use my Trek FX (I'll ride my road bike :) ), if it fits and I have the day off. It is a 22.5" frame.
Email Tom, directly. He could probably hook you up. (http://www.goldentrianglebikenblade.com/)
