Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to buy Assos gear?

Thanks,
Mike

Did you try google already? That should turn up some sites like these:

http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY?PAGE=CATEGORY_VIEW&CATEGORY.ID=16&TFC=TRUE

http://www.worldcycling.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=Assos&ti=Assos&tn=1

I'd be interested to see if there's ever any discounting on Assos stuff - it looks to me like they must enforce their MSRP on ALL distributors, b/c I've never found ANY meaningful price differences from any of the sites that carry Assos gear.

Or you could try these:

http://www.lickbike.com/manflist1.asp?MANF=Assos

http://www.cbike.com/assos.htm

but I guess your search function wasn't working.

I'd love to hear of other places that actually discount from these lofty prices, if anyone knows of any.

Or you could take advantage of the lower Canadian dollar and try www.racersportif.com

I just bought a pair of PI bibs from www.excelsports.com and have to say was impressed with the customer service and the overall experience. Not too sure if I like the brick-like padding in the bibs but that isn't Excel's fault!

Look for sales, totalcycling.com was selling airblock jacket at half price a while ago

In all sizes??

The only times I've seen Assos stuff heavily discounted, it's been clearance/leftovers, which meant only small and XXXXL were available - IOW, nothing that would fit 95% of us.

Yep, it was a winter clearance, cbike.com is doing the same thing now.

Thanks for all of the links...I was hoping to find someplace that discounted this stuff at least a little bit.

Actually, there is one now that I think of it - www.hammerpilot.com. The site says that you need to email him to get his internet prices. I did that and he said to take 13% off what the MSRP on the site says. I haven't bought anything from there, but if the 13% off holds true, then it would be the cheapest I've seen Assos stuff on-line or anywhere else.
