Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was thinking of upgrading.....what do you guys think?
You need a 2.7" front tire...keep a 1.95" R for snappy acceleration.
Were you thinking on dyeing your hair, getting a TGMBG tat . . . or what?

I really don't know if I should go for it or not. Will it make me a better rider?

Hey...how 'bout a dual disc front hub? Then you can "flip-flop" when you melt one!

I hear that with the advent of the little blue pill the pneumatic prosthetics are no longer needed.
Do it...go for the new banjo!

Or maybe roadbiker66? Wait, is that an upgrade or a downgrade?

Depends on the parts group.

How tough are your trails?
If you're riding gnar stuff like fire roads, the extra cush of a full squish will make the ride a lot smoother.
Last time I tried to upgrade I ended up broke and handcuffed to a motel bed in some Puerto Rican town. I wouldn't recommend it.
Due to constant improvement in technology.. keeping your bike the same over time.. is in fact a downgrade.. and so upgrading may just be maintaining your current level. When in doubt, always upgrade.

I really want to shred the gnar with the speed of Never and the style of Gastro.I want to ride like I'm all jacked up on Mountain Dew. When I pass a lycra clad XC weenie I want to kick him in the back of the neck.I really want to shake and bake.

For some people that is an upgrade.

I hear that the movie is an adaptation of the mtnbiker66's and hambone's lives.
Upgrade the engine instead.
Maybe Pec implants and a tummy tuck?

Dear Lord Baby Jesus, we'd also like to thank you for mtnbiker66. We hope that you can use your baby Jesus powers to heal him and his horrible leg. It smells terrible and the dogs are always bothering with it...

Hey, are you saying that gastro is slow and I don't have any style?

This is good stuff. I hope you kick the weird mans butt and send him back to Indonisia. In reality, you should upgrade. The friends you hang with really are suspect. That littebone is going to take you down a bad and dangerous path.
