Someone suggested i check out this cartridge rebuild kit for a '95 Rock Shox Judy I have on my GT Zaskar.

In truth, I haven't broken the fork down to investigate, but I just got the Zaskar and the previous owner said he thought it needed some new elastomers (at least for his weight...which is about 10-15 lbs more than me). If I need new, obsolete parts like the elastomers, would going the route of using this conversion on Ebay be good? How does this compare w/ modern fork technology? Oh...and, I guess my use of the bike would be what's considered XC riding.
