Hey, are you interested in a really good ride sunday. GG bridge down the coast HMB, Tunitas and you can go home from there!

I was thinking we could climb Page Mill, descend Alpine, Up/down Haskins, lunch in Pescadero, Stage, Tunitas, descend Kings, etc..

I'd ride from home... doing Crestview, etc... on the way home.

Me and Chris were thinking about a ride this Saturday as well. I'd be game but, of course, I'll be at the back of the pack.

I am going to have to wait until next week (again)... :(

Marco, pretty soon there's no more next week (for the Early Birds anyway).

I'm taking a Montebello newbie up there on Sat., but it'll be an early morning (take off from Arastradero/Foothill at 8 am) likely short one. If anyone is interested in incorporating that into their longer ride that morning, you are welcome to join us.

uspspro -

I'm taking the Alto Velo B-Ride to the coast. Old La Honda, 84 to San Gregorio, Stage, Hwy 1, Tunitas Creek, Kings, etc. Should be great weather for January.

That's what I'm thinking, weather should be awesome for the coast side... however... the tandem might not fit in well with the AV B-ride.

What's your expected time up OLH? I have no problem drafting a tandem out to the coast! :)

I'm doing a super-early ride from the San Mateo Library with a friend from work. Should be a quick, relatively flat 60 miles. Just down Canada, over to foothill to Foothill College and back to San Mateo. A little flat for you maybe, but I want to go easy on my knees anyway.

Oh to edit, probably leaving San Mateo Library at like, 8am.

Are you going to take Crystal Springs? You should just hop on with us. ;)

Are you doing the B-Ride then? I doubt we have time to go all the way out to the coast but maybe we could run up OLH.

Still not sure what we are doing. Probably not the B-ride, since I want to hit up Pescadero for lunch if I am out that way.

Still awaiting other responses.

Turns out my ride is leaving at 7:30 now. Getting up and being on time is surely looking like the hardest part of the day.

On-call weekend, so nothing for me. I guess it's a weekend of night riding for me.

Karate tomorrow morning (and a student's belt test so I have to be there) and orchestra concert Sunday. Guess I will try to get out for a short ride tomorrow afternoon.

It's too early for me as well. I know I won't be able to get to sleep tonight, because I know that I have to get up early.

Anyway, the briskness at 7am when I'm loading up ought to wake me a bit.

Hope you had a good and rewarding ride today. I am just checking in after a time at Tahoe and a long day in the city playing softball at Jackson Park. (That's easy compared to riding 60 or 80 miles.)

I am looking to ride Monday. Gladiators? Cheetahs (if you exist)? A 10 am or so start allows things to warm up a little. Please let me know. Thanks.

No real ride... we woke up WAY too late.

We rode around the neighborhood to the local park to play tennis for a while.

Then we just kind of rode around the neighborhood on our way home.

Later we rode to a local spot for cannoli and cappuccino, and then rode to dinner.

Did you have anything in mind? I am open to starting between San Mateo and Los Altos/Cupertino.

We could always do the classic route to Pescadero, starting near Arastedero and 280 (or perhaps Gunn HS for parking). That would be up and down Old La Honda to 84 to Stage Rd. to Pescadero and either circle back to Tunitas [I live that way :)] or continue on to Alpine and down Page Mill to the start.

How does that sound? Like I said, I am open to other ideas as well.
