Mine is a pretty cool lady abd I have no SERIOUS complaints, however:

- She shows 5" of cleavage just about every day. Our office is 98% women, and she's married. Who's she trying to impress?
- She wing-tips her eyeshadow and it makes her look like she's wearing a super hero mask
- She's 45 (guessing) and shops in the Juniors department, resulting in FAR TOO MUCH SKIN, short skirts, and animal prints
- She cannot pronounce her own title TO SAVE HER LIFE. Her title is _____ Analyst. She says "_______ Analy-sist". Even if I've just said the word "analyst", she'll say analysist.
- She encourages me to hyper-prepare for meetings, gets all excited for me to present, then when someone asks me a question or its my turn to speak, she interrupts me and shares the exact information I worked so hard to prepare. Totally steals my thunder in meetings, big and small.
- She'll come sit in my spare chair and just sit there. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to provide a topic of conversation or just wait for her to speak, but it results in a lot of dead air.

What about you?

Is she single? :innocent:

I don't have a boss. That would stem from the fact that I don't have a job. :)

Yep...that's it in a nut shell. My response...pay me what I'm worth, and you'll get a hell of a lot more out of me.

do you really want that?
I mean...98% women in a bar = hell yes.
98% women in the office = where the hell are the ear plugs.

Corporate retail, baby!! Come and get it. My office caters to the plus-sized ladies/population as well, if that's your thing.

It's relatively sane in my department, thank god. We have a good time, but no one's ears are bleeding by any means.

I wish to God it was like that here. I have 3 women around my cube that I swear their lips break the sound barrier every F'n day! I'm tired of it. And the worst part..all the yappin and no one is communicating a damned thing.

No legit complaints about my boss. If I had to pick something; she makes microwave popcorn every afternoon and I really hate the way imitation butter flavouring smells.

My boss is a pretty awesome lady, but there is one little thing. Any time I need time off for a doctor's visit or just a day off, she responds like this:

Me, two weeks in advance: "I have a doctor's appointment Friday the 18th at 8am, is that alright?"
Her, after sighing in a very irritated way: "Well....I guess."

She has this tone of voice that makes it sound like I'm inconveniencing everyone terribly. No one else seems to get this attitude from her, even though they ask off considerably more than me and usually with less notice.

I can't name any names, but all but 1 of them were quite the lookers.
there were at least 2 pet dogs that roamed the building.

I always figured that my job was to make my boss look good.

It really worked out quite well.

I was paid well, and nobody messed with me.

Whenever I told my boss that he/she didn't want to know something - case closed.

Noboby admits to being my boss since they don't understand the intricacies of my job (Environmental Health & Safety, dealing with a lot of industrial chemistry stuff). I have to be there to do what I do or they'll get reamed by the regulatory agencies that visit us quiet frequently.

One thing I hate about this place is no one ever gets promoted, except for direct supervisory jobs. Company doesn't value skills and training, and would rather hire someone with outside experience. No wonder folks leave all the time (I might be gone pretty soon, too!).

I like my boss. He also hired me for a previous job over 20 years ago. We kept in touch all through the years and I got the job I've had for the last 5.5 years through networking with him.

Since he's known me so long he leaves me alone to just do my job. He also knows that I have no interest in taking over his management position so when he's out of the office he can leave things to me without having to worry about watching his back.

I love my boss. He's really smart, he's fair and goes way out of his way for an employee. But you better not screw up. He understands if things were out of your control and stuff happens but if you lie to him or try to manipulate or cheat others - Ooooo you better run. You don't wanna piss HIM off.

I love my boss and he's awesome in almost every way (from free chocolate to creating a very comfortable and supportive workplace), BUT! He tends to hover a lot. He's new at being a boss, so just like a new mommy, he tends to be overprotective and overwatchful of both us tutors and our students. When he gets out of that phase though, I think he'll be the Best. Boss. Ever.

My boss is fairly cool. I can take as much time off that I need/want even at short notice, with the rider that it can't be when he is away from the office.

It's a good atmosphere to work in and he pays my professional fees, training courses without batting an eyelid. I just have to get the job done, I don't have to worry about making up lost time.

My boss is fine. He gives me a hard time every now and then but is because of my own procrastination syndrome, not his fault. He's actually pretty cool. Lately, he got a road bike and is looking to go on some rides. That's gonna be fun.

I love my boss! However when she has a bad day she gets cranky and so she gets a tad demanding. Other than that, she's great! In fact she's part of the group here at school (about 13 of us including the Dean) who goes out on 5 day tours (bicycle) - so I usually end up sharing a motel room with her, and our bikes. I haven't gone the last two years, but am feeling like touring this year.
