I need a kid trailer that hauls a 5 year old and a 1 year old at the same time, any body care to share advice????
You should post this in the Utility forum. Those guys will be all over this question.
One thing to be mindful of is the hitch that connects the bike to the trailer. From what I have seen, the Nashbar trailer looks like one of the lower quality trailers you can get at a department store. The hitch clamps onto the left chainstay and is tightened with a large screw that provides good torque. If you don't torque down enough, the hitch risks letting go and sliding into your wheel... or worse.
Ask me how I know. :(
If it were for hauling my kids, I might be inclined to get something a little pricier or look on Craiglist for a used Chariot or Burley.

How tall and heavy 5 y.o.?
It's probably borderline now, although if you don't ride in the rain/snow/wind maybe you don't need the top cover so the taller kid's head can stick out.
My problem with a similar trailer is arm width though.
How long do you need to use this setup?

A car free neighbor did this with stuffing the two kids in a single wide Burley. After 6 months or so she started putting the older kid on the bike, side saddle on the top tube or clutching the luggage rack. She got the Burley used from E-bay. Yesterday I saw the Burley outside her workplace the kids must be 8 and 4 now so it has lasted a while. This isn't advice just what I see on my block.
