I've been doing some extra work on the bike and off for a couple of months now, but I had not been losing any weight.vPlenty of people were asking if I had lost weight or telling me that I looked good, but those darn scales were stubbornly sticking to 3 digits (kg). I figure it was all converting into hill-climbing-thigh-goodness!

For the last whole week the digital scales at my sport club have been broken - How do I know? The third digit has stopped working :thumb:. Every time I get on, I'm sub-100kg (220lb):D. I never thought that ninety-something would seem so good to see!

I haven't told the wife yet, but if I can get to 90kg by the end of the year I'm going to buy a new bike with more 'bling'. Better start saving and working harder!

WTG that exactly what I'm working towards, sub 200 would be great. I'm getting a new bike in late April early May but won't do it unless I'm under 220lbs. Let's see started year at 235lbs now 230lbs heck maybe I can hit 210 or 200 by May. Go at it man once it starts coming off it usally continues that way for awhile till you plateau.

As hard as shifting the pounds is (and will continue to be), probably the hardest part will be convincing the wife that I need a new/more bling bike! The Caad9 is pretty damn good and perhaps I'll just upgrade it with SRAM Force rather than replace it.

However, I'm thinking titanium...
