No worries about whether a bike lane is safe or not. It follows you wherever the road is clear...

I like the basic concept - and it would be nice to be able to place a line at the 3' distance that is the minimum legal passing clearance here in Maine and many other states. Only works at night though, and I generally find that I have fewer issues at night - perhaps because I am lit up like a fire engine.

The photos look fake. Any videos of the thing in motion?

It seems strange that the riders who supposedly are concerned about cars seeing them are shown without lights. First, get some lights, then worry about the rest.

Neat concept, but I think lights at drivers eye level would be more effective. Perhaps something like Flashflag with a blinkie on the end http://www.nordicgroup.us/s78/flags.html

The line looks to be a couple of inches off the handlebar. I'd prefer a couple of feet.
