I'm thinking of picking up a dedicated TRI/TT rig on ebay. What are the PROs & CONs of 650 and 700 Bikes? I've seen med to large frame 650s on ebay & was wondering if there is any advantage / disadvantage ?? Any info / thoughts are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

it's a wash as far as performance...

BUT...if you don't have a small frame, go with 700c because your tire/tube/tubular/wheel choices are much better...

I thought most 600c wheeled bikes were smaller sizes.

Generally true, but here are 2 ebay listings for 55 & 56 frames w/ 650s

A while back, I think I remember seeing a 63(?) Quinta Roo rollin' on 650s. It looked kinda strange.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure about any performance differences and I do agree with the greater # of choices for 700s. I'll be looking for a 55 / 56 frame so 700 seems to be a more logical choice.
