How hard do you think ti would be to rig the powerpack from this unit (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?id=0057505229008a&navCount=1&podId=0057505&parentId=cat603238&masterpathid=&navAction=jump&cmCat=froogle-cat603238&catalogCode=XJ&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat603238) to your bike? Watching potential bike thieves get buzzed would be amusing and allow you to keep your bike from ending up sold for couple crack rocks.
costs as much as my IronHorse Warrior when I got it in '04.

Probably not very hard. The only thing you have to watch for is you must ground the bike when you lock it and insulate it from whatever it is your locking it to. Also, you wouldn't be able to put out more than about 5k volts, because anything more, and you'll arc across the tires.

Ummm...not hard, but also not smart. 1. How are you going to explain it to the police when you lock your bike up to a steel-framed bike stand and some kid gets zapped when they simply touch their bike at the wrong moment? 2. How are you going to feel when some thief rips off your $250 theft alarm.

I think its a great idea, that would be so funny to see a thief get shocked by one of these.

BTW there are 'buzz knuckles' for sale apparently as I've heard but have not seen them yet. Tho make your own knuckles and attach to a ~90,000v DIY taser for extra punch on that bike thief. Damn it Ican't find that youtube video on the buzz knuckles :P
