Just so I could say I did, I was out this afternoon at a local favorite ride (Loch Raven Resevoir near Baltimore) at 16 degrees above. Quiet, pretty, but feet were a little cold. Saw ten deer and one Great Blue Heron (gone before I got the camera out). Here are a few pictures I took.

What I ride: 1990 GT Karakoram.
92182
Not quite frozen across.
92183
Sunset and singletrack.
92184
Lots of ice.
92185
Pretty. Empty.
92186
Lots of roots.
92187
Sam's grave. The headstone reads "Here lies Sam a great dog 1975-1989". It's tradition to
pay respects ("Hi Sam") when you pass by.
92188
Slushy.
92197
Halfway up Lungbuster.
92190
The one critter I could get a picture of.
It really was nice, but it helped to be dressed for it.
